This gorgeous family hired me to come up and take some posed and candid photos on dad’s big BIG birthday. What a great idea - we got some lovely posed photos of the four of them and loads of photos, both inside and out, as the rest of their family arrived for the festivities…
All babies are beautiful, but this one was something special. Although actually mom and dad are gorgeous so it’s really no wonder. Jenny and Joe are friends of mine, and I popped over to their new home one morning, had a cuppa and took some photos of the three of them. If you’re looking to capture some moments at home with your new baby, please get in touch as photographing babies is my favourite thing to do!
This gorgeous little family was so much fun to photograph, and the light they got in their home was the stuff of dreams. Pink, unicorns, sparkly stuff and rainbows galore ruled the day, and we all had fun taking these photos here in Edinburgh. Including Muffin the cat.
I walked into their home and within seconds, Finn was showing me his toys and Maggie gave me a bit of pancake. I felt like I'd known these guys forever in the best way possible, and it was super lovely…
This was a house full of boy — mama Sorour is very much outnumbered! Such a lovely family in an uber-beautiful Edinburgh home, a photographer couldn't ask for much more than that!
Three hens, three horses, three ponies, one grandmother (with her own dog), two parents, two children and one more on the way. Please can I do all the rest of my photo sessions on a farm? So. Much. Fun.
Well this was fun! It was just after Hogmanay (don't let the jacket-less photos fool you - it was cold!), and how lovely is it to have a family photo session…
These guys were simply adorable - all four of them. The cutest children (and how amazing is their son's hair?!), photographed in their new home just before the holidays…
For at least an entire five minutes after I finished this session, I wish we'd had four children instead of two. The Reids were the largest family I've photographed yet…
These guys used to live in my neighbourhood and we eventually got to chatting on random street corners, at Starbucks, etc. So I was thrilled at the opportunity to photograph them at home…
I was so happy to photography these guys. The cutest, loveliest, sweetest little family, honestly. And so incredibly chilled out -- even with a new baby.
The last time I photographed these guys, they were living across town and had one fewer child. I love being able to photograph a family as they grow, and it especially helps when they're so stinkin' cute.
Oh how I LOVE a new baby. Not enough to have another one, mind, but how lucky am I to get to photograph babies and maybe even sneak in a cuddle, and then run? All the cuteness, right here.
I adore these guys. So laid back, super creative (Donald is a very talented painter, Holly owns Doodles) and just lovely to be around. A photogenic family, full of love for each other. What more could a family photographer…
Before a session, people often ask what they 'should do' when I'm there. Do what you do, I usually say. In this case, that meant whipping out some paper and paint and getting creative among other thigns, which I just loved.
This one goes down as one of my favourite photo sessions ever. I can try to kid myself, but I am very much a city girl, having moved from NYC to Edinburgh. And these guys are city people, for sure…
Emily and I met at the swing park (as you do) and I was delighted to have the opportunity to take photos of her beautiful family in their uber beautiful Edinburgh home before they moved back to the Big Smoke. Have a sneaky peek at some of my photos below!
There was a little miscommunication involved, and this session ended up being minus their doting dad who had to work. But as a mom, how lovely to have photos with just the girls? The weather here in…
This was a typical photo session for me, the kind I like the most. A Saturday in Winter. A family just doing their thing. A bit inside, a bit out. A few posed photos, but mostly me just lurking around in the corners (not in a creepy way!)…
I loved this Edinburgh photo session SO MUCH. These guys were moving down to London from Stockbridge and I arrived to a nearly-empty flat. We took a few photos there for posterity's sake, and then headed to their favourite corner store…
