It was down and dirty and quick and crazy and cold, and lots of fun. This session consisted of two sisters, their husbands and all their kids, who clearly get along quite well. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, I’m always happy to do a mini mini session if you’re happy to trek to my neighbourhood.
This is the first time I’ve been hired to take photos at a party but what a great idea! This was a super special 80th birthday celebration where a big family who lives all over the country got together to celebrate. Everyone was in the photos, with lots of candid shots and a few more formal portraits, and no one had to fuss with a camera phone and play photographer, because they had one….
The last time I photographed these girls, two sets of sisters who are all cousins, was three years ago. Since then another cousin - yes, another girl! - has joined the fun. We went back to Arthur’s Seat and as before, it didn’t disappoint. And this time we also had moms, dads and grandparents along for the ride, because the more, the merrier.
My amazing, gorgeous mother-in-law had a very big birthday, and as a surprise we arranged a little photo session with my two boys and their three gorgeous cousins…
Right, those dresses. I mean...wow! We hadn't discussed what to wear at all, and these gorgeous girls (cousins - two sets of sisters) showed up looking like they'd popped straight out of a Boden catalogue, in the best way possible…
